When I was a little girl, I loved playing dress up. I was obsessed with my Snow White costume; I instantly fell in love with the idea of dressing up as a princess and refused to wear anything else. When it was finally pried off of me, I cried. Luckily, there’s an easier (not to mention, much cooler) way of playing dress up: Polyvore. It’s the answer for all you fashionable girls who love putting together outfits.

I feel slightly guilty telling you all this just as classes are starting up. Even if you’ve managed to cut down on your Facebook usage during class, you might not be able to resist Polyvore. The site offers literally thousands of clothes and accessories from all your favorite stores and designers at the touch of a button. Using a drag-and-drop feature, you can create a visual representation – called a “set” – of what your outfit would look like as a collage.

I created this fun summer set on Polyvore. The site is so simple and easy to use, so there’s no reason not to give it a whirl! Create an account, browse for your favorite pieces, and start styling!
