Vote in Styleta’s Student Designer Challenge!

I know I’m not alone when I say I spend my Wednesday nights arguing with the judges of Project Runway. As much as I love Heidi, Nina, and Michael, I don’t always agree with their decisions regarding who wins the challenge and who goes home. Isn’t it time for viewers to have a say in who the best designer is?

This is where Styleta‘s Student Designer Challenge comes in. Last month, Styleta asked student designers from across the country to submit their designs. All pieces have been donated to Styleta and will be up for auction soon.  Keep a close watch or sign up for the mailing list to be notified of when your favorite piece comes up for auction! This competition is unique in that the voting is run via Facebook, which means that anyone can vote. Additionally, several lucky voters will receive $20 gift certificates to shop on Styleta.

To vote, simply “like” Styleta’s page on Facebook and “like” your favorite designer here!

Will you vote for Shara LoSardo’s super-chic LBD, Masaaki Sato’s vibrant yellow dress with side cut-outs, or LaTonya Williams’ sophisticated coat dress? Will you vote for Stacy Longo’s grid-patterned open top and jeans, Nasya Newport’s sequined eggplant and black dress, or Narisa Yap’s dress made entirely of yarn? Make sure to come back to HC and let us know which design you voted for; I would love to hear your thoughts on these five brilliant designs!)

Voting runs through September 15, so vote today! Scroll down to see the designs.
