Catwalk to Campus

As a young girl dreaming of being a ballet dancer and fashion mogul, my mother unfortunately gave me fashion freedom and I thought it was a good idea to wear my ballet tutu's with my favorite lady bug rain boots and oversized sweaters. (Oh how I wish it was socially acceptable to wear that outfit as a 19 year old).

In order to escape the humdrum of mid-terms, this past week was spent wasting countless hours in front of a computer screen, surfing some of my favorite sites. Lucky for me, and not so lucky for my GPA, it was Fashion Week in New York. While the discoveries I made were motivated by pure procrastination, in the end the payoff was quite rewarding.
