This afternoon and tonight included some fun and relaxation which was a much-needed break after going straight from papers to finals to meetings here! After lunch we stayed on the Upper West Side and hit up the Loehmann’s there. For those of you who don’t know, Loehmann’s is a store that sells designer clothes at discounted prices, like Filene’e Basement, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, etc. We LOVE it! Windsor scored a pair of what were originally $200 jeans for $40! Stephanie got some scarves for her mom for Hanukkah (sshhh) and Annie got a super cute gray Free People sweater dress. Annie had to head out to catch a bus back to Boston before the snowstorm hit, but Windsor and Stephanie stayed a little longer. It started flurrying as we were leaving! Here we are in front of some Christmas trees that were being sold outside Loehmann’s with our shopping bags and the snow.
For dinner we went to Rosa Mexicano, a delicious Mexican restaurant on the UWS that was also right near last summer’s apartment! Here are our delicious guacamole (which the restaurant is famous for) and mushroom quesadillas. We also got vegetable enchiladas, FYI.
There is now so much snow here!
