7 Reasons You Miss Flip Phones

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

In honor of switching back to my Envy 2 to flip phone because of a tragic iPhone death, I think we should all take a moment to appreciate how awesome those things actually were.

1. You can customize your rigtone to pretty much anything your heart desires and jam out everytime someone calls you.

2. Furthermore, you can customize your ringtone for different people so you can know right away who not to pick up to.

3. Remember how bedazzling the sh*t out of your phone used to be a thing?

4. You can pretty much fire your flip phone out of a cannon and it would still work perfectly fine.

5. A charger? Oh please you charged it on Tuesday you should be good for another day or two before that battery dies

6. Remember sitting and enjoying people’s company without being distracted by social media on your smart phones?

7. And of course the way you can dramatically answer or end a phone call
