- The weather is supposed to be beautiful. High 50’s and sunny!
2. Why wouldn’t you want to support your school, that’s ranked nationally for academics AND football.
3. And while you’re at your last tailgate of the season, you know the players in the locker room are getting just as pumped as you are.
4. You also have to be at this game because you don’t want to miss it if Solomon Vault, NU’s leader in kick-return touchdowns, runs 96 yards for a touchdown against Purdue.
5. And after each touchdown, you know there’s bound to be a celebratory dance.
6. They don’t call us the Cardiac Cats for no reason. Even though Purdue has won only two games this season, I’m sure there will be plays that will give football fans a heart attack… or two.
7. But you know that when Jack Mitchell kicks a clutch field goal there will be more celebration on the field.
8. The ‘Cats had a strong start at home with a win against Stanford (we are Stanford’s only loss) and the ‘Cats need have to strong finish at home, too.
9. So this Saturday, let’s make sure we all GO CATS.
10. And let’s get that win against Purdue.
