Turning 21: The Top 21 Things To Do On Your 21st Birthday

The age everyone wants to be. The age everyone wants to go back to. Yes, I am talking about 21. It is that magical birthday and it only comes once. It is the day you can be completely drunk (legally) and no one can say anything bad about you. I will be turning 21 is less than 3 months and I can’t wait. There are endless possibilities on what you can do on your 21st celebration; however, here is 21 things you could do to make your 21st that much more special. So, for that one day you can be a complete hot mess, here is 21 things you should be doing.

 

21. Movie Marathon

Ring in that big day with a couple friends, wine, and all your favorite movies. It is your day so why not watch your favorite flicks! Mean Girls anyone?

 

 

20. Go To Florida

Miami, Orlando, or maybe even Tampa, Florida has the hottest spots for you to celebrate your 21st. From hot night clubs in Miami to Disney in Orlando; Florida is calling you.

 

 

19. Dinner and Wine

Why not have a classy 21st? Go to a fancy restaurant or maybe even cook at home? Call up some friends and family and eat and drink in class. Sounds so much better than passing out on the street right?

 

18. Go To Vegas

Casinos. Clubbing. Gambling. Britney Spears. Do I need to say more?

 

17. Jersey Shore

The Jersey Shore is the craziest and wildest place you can go on your 21st. Wildwood, New Jersey probably is the best bet for a big celebration. I call it “Miami: Fake Spray Tan and Cheap Liquor Edition”.

 

16. Beer Pong

We all know how to play, so why not do it on your 21st.  Right?

 

15. Shopping Spree

When most will be getting drunk, why not go treat yourself. Make a splash on your big birthday and be the trendiest b**ch in the land.

 

14. Play with Animals

Because sometimes puppies are better than vodka.

 

13. Get Your Fortune Told  

Your 21 and you’re getting old. Next step, see where your future is heading. I always wanted to do this and why not on my 21st birthday.

 

12. Spa Day

Once again, treat yourself.

 

11. Go to a Concert

Concerts are the absolute best. Go see your favorite artist on your birthday and make it a night to remember. Get a couple friends and sing your heart out!

 

10. Clubbing

Dance your little heart out.

 

9. Night Out With the Girls or Guys

Get your best friends and just go out. Don’t have a specific place; just let the night decide where you will go.

Yep….. Like this won’t happen.

 

 

7. Casino

Guess what, you can gamble now! So why not go waste all your money and maybe even hit it big on your birthday. May the odds ever be in your favor!

 

6. Get Something Pierced

You always wanted your bellybutton or nose pierced? Well, do it on your 21st and have no regrets.

 

5. Camping

Why not have a relaxing birthday in the woods? Get your tent, a bottle of rum, a couple of friends and head to the mountains!

 

4. Road trip

Haven’t you always wanted to do a big road trip? Now is your time you fresh little 21 year old! Drive like there is no tomorrow.

 

3. Get Your First Tattoo

Getting your first tattoo is a special time. Getting it on your 21st birthday is even more special. Pick the tattoo of your dreams and go get inked. Have no regrets either, this is your birthday.

Brendan Dazen was born June 10th, 1994 in Pittsburgh, Pa. As a child he particapted in such activities as soccer, dance, theater, baseball, and singing. He grew up to love theater and music so much. He even landed a "Best Newcomer" award for Peters Township High School's theater department . He now attends Point Park University for Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management.
