  1. Moisturize your legs. Seriously.

Using shaving cream (like Silk) or gel or something specifically meant to you know, shave legs with, will do wonders to keep your legs soft. The real trick, though, is to use baby oil instead of lotion after you dry off after the shower/bath.

And if you don’t shave your legs, massaging baby oil into your skin after showers will make your skin super soft and 10/10 would recommend.

  1. Rub sugar on your legs in the shower.

Scrub your legs with sugar before shaving will get you a closer shave and keep your legs smoother, for longer! And if you don’t shave, then you should still exfoliate your legs to get all of the dead skin off, and sugar is amazing for that!

You can also make some DIY scrubs to exfoliate your legs, if you’re feeling fancy and wanting something new!

  1. Turn the heat down, dang, it’s like lava!

Yo’! Hot water really dries out your skin, so it’s a no go. Luke-warm water is the best water to shower in, for your entire body, not just your legs!

  1. Do some squats, be a super-heroine!

Now, I am SUPER self-conscious of my legs. Working out helps me feel better about them, way more confident that I ever have been! There are a lot of reasons you can choose to work out; I do it to gain muscle in my legs. I want them to be as strong as a ballerinas (hey, they have ridiculously strong legs).

Some of my favourite work outs are super hero inspired! I’m a fan of Black Widow and Harley Quinn, but there are a lot of others to choose from!

  1. Glitter!

Using a sunscreen or lotion in the mornings with a slight sparkle will make your legs automatically 5K times more fabulous. #i’mjustsaying

  1. Do it for you!

Remember, all of these tips are for YOU! At the end of the day, as long as you feel comfortable in your own body, you can do whatever you dang well please with it. No one can define your aesthetics but you (except for maybe Tumblr, but we won’t talk about that).
