A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate enough to head to New Jersey for MTV’s Spring Fix for both volunteering and reporting. There’s no way I was coming back to the Forty Acres without a little Jerseylicious advice for my fellow collegiettes, enjoy!Â
Tips for Girls Making a Difference
Deena: Just stay true to yourself, with a lot of girls–especially our age–I feel like everybody is self-conscious and still trying to find themselves and as long as you are yourself youâre going to make it in life.
Snooki: Just be yourself and be independent and be a strong b*tch.
What They Thought of Spring Fix
Snooki: I think itâs fabulous, I know spring break means a lot to everybody; itâs your time to get away from school, just go crazy and live it up, and the fact that theyâd rather help out the shore is amazing and I love them for that.
J. Woww: Itâs huge, when I was in college the thing that everyone would look forward to was spring break, and for these kids to give up their time and to work on the shore it means a ton. It means the world to us.
Sammi: They have to be amazing people to take time out of their lives to help out other people and not go on spring break trips to Florida or CancĂșn and stay in this freezing cold weather. I think that itâs great that there are people in this world that can do that.
Deena: I think what theyâre doing just shows theyâre great people. I feel like everybodyâs really coming together and pulling the shore up, itâs actually coming along a lot quicker than I thought it was going to come along. I have high hopes for it.
Style Tips the JerseyWay
Deena: I like to tease my hair, âhigher the hair the closer to God, right?â I like heels (Iâm short!), I like color and mixing it up. Also, fake eyelashes!
