We all love a good bath. There’s really nothing better than a nice long soak in the tub after a long and stressful day. However, it seems like a way to upgrade your baths has recently gained cult level obsession. Bath bombs seem to be everywhere I look lately, even reaching meme status. If you, like me, want to know what the all hype is about without shelling out the money or just want to have fun with a creative project, here are 5 recipes I found to enhance your bath experience.

1. Vanilla Bath Bomb

3. Oatmeal Bath Bomb

5. Lavendar Bath Bomb

The basic ingredients needed to make your own bath bombs are:

·   Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)

·   Citric acid (fine)

·   Witch Hazel

·   Essential oils

When making bath bombs you want to make sure to use all natural ingredients as opposed to artificial scents and oils. Essential oils are derived from plants, so many people who are sensitive or allergic to synthetic scents can handle the real thing. If you have pollen allergies, steer clear of oils from flowers and opt instead for herbs. The great thing about DIY is that you can make a blend perfectly suited for you.
