We’re all familiar with Ellen’s famous pranks and scares on her show. She loves to get people when they least expect it. As we all know, there is no wrong time to prank or scare someone according to Ellen.
With April Fool’s Day coming up, it’s time reminisce some of the cool and definitely entertaining, pranks and scares that Ellen has featured on her show.
1. Dennis Quaid is here!
This is one of the best pranks that she has ever done. Dennis Quaid gets credit too since this is a prank by association. Remember that time that Ellen invested in the help of Dennis Quaid to prank the baristas and customers at Starbucks? No? Well, you’re about to find out.
Ellen speaks to Quaid through an earpiece while he orders a drink at Starbucks. They set up hidden cameras to catch the whole thing. She began the prank by having him walk in saying “Dennis Quaid is here!” The prank goes into full swing as she has him continue to talk in third person ordering a drink, gargling water, and getting the barista to sing with him.
2. Dance Masters
Taylor Swift and Zac Efron take on a dance dare and prank Betty White, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Akon. The duo walked up behind each person and performed crazy dance moves as the individuals continued doing whatever they were doing before Swift and Efron started dancing behind them.
3. Drive-Thru Prank
So Ellen loved the prank where a genius man by the name of Rahat, made a car seat cushion and prank unsuspecting drive-thru employees. She brought him to the show where he filmed some pranks with her camera crew.
4. Even Jimmy Fallon isn’t safe from the pranks.
Jimmy Fallon is one of the funniest guys on television. However, the joke was on him when Ellen scared him during a segment on her show. Fallon freaked out and walked into the audience before lying down in some audience members’ laps.
5. A prankster get’s pranked.
Justin Bieber is known for being a prankster, but even the prankster gets pranked sometimes. Ellen got Bieber pretty good as he talked about his upcoming roast. A man jumps out of the box table sitting by them. Bieber freaks out and questions why Ellen would prank him because he’s the prankster.
6. Dainty scares.
Ellen scares Cameron Diaz in this clip from her show. Diaz talks about how Jim Carrey used to scare her when he would take off his mask on the set of “The Mask,” and a man dressed like Carrey from the movie walks up behind her and scares her. However, it’s not so much that act of person scaring her that’s funny, as it is the fact that Diaz’s scream and reaction is so dainty and cute.
7. Target Life
Ellen enlists the help of David Beckham as she sets him up to prank Target guests shopping by the health and beauty section. Through an earpiece, Ellen tells Beckham what to say and do. Beckham is a great sport throughout the prank as he gets one lady to sniff his knee, serenades a passing guest, and tells people if they stink they should buy cologne. Who doesn’t love to watch a sexy David Beckham undercover at Target prank people?
8. The time Ellen scared Taylor Swift and made her fall on the bathroom floor.
This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Ellen just crouched down against the wall and when an unsuspecting Taylor Swift walked in, Ellen jumped up and screamed causing Taylor to scream and stumble back against the wall. She then fell to the ground and began laughing. Even Ellen said “Oh my God that was the best one yet.”
