SB 2010: Keepin' It Fratty

Now that Work Forest has officially entered midterm season, it’s clear that spring break is just around the corner. Although we will head in separate directions for SB 2010, we must band together in the name of frattiness. Read these suggestions to keep up your frat star status in any part of the world.
We hope you’ve been preparing. Besides hitting up the tanning salon and Reynolds gym, many questions should have crossed your mind: Will I forget the value of the red solo cup? Will I miss going to house parties and late night get-togethers? And what will I do without neon for a whole week?
Lucky for you ladies, spring break is a frat star tradition. Yes, that’s right, you can still maintain or even increase your frat level outside of our iron-wrought gates. Chances are, if you’re hitting up the Florida coast, a Caribbean island or some other typical locale, you’ll run into the frat stars of Wake or some other university. Yes, they do say the more “frat”-ernizing, the better; however, make sure to stand out against fratty competition. Even in the raging heat, you have the tools to stay cool, stay fratty.
Fill your Longchamps with Ray Bans, some Lilly Pulitzer and your favorite frat koozie (Remember a warm Natty light is not a fratty Natty). While you’re at it, throw in a deck of cards, some ping pong balls and a bag of solo cups to accompany the cooler; you’ll probably end up wanting those too. And of course, frequently reference your fratmusic.com favorites.
Three quick links to frat success:
1. Research the fist pump, as referenced in the Jersey Shore, here.
2. Look at the "How to Do the Robot," here.
3. Order some frat gear, here.
Above all else, make sure to always keep in mind your frat star anthem -
FRAT HARD, FRAT OFTEN.
If you’re not beaching it for spring break, your frat factor is already in trouble. While you’re breaking from Wake, we might suggest that it’s time to re-evaluate your social life. It’s important that you come back to Wake recommitted to frattiness, just in time for day parties, Carolina Cup, and post exams. Spring break is just the start of the Wake fratstar’s spring calendar. Get ready to gear up and go hard. The frattiest season is just ahead.
