Fall is in full swing- Here are some fun fall activities to do this weekend in Winston-Salem, NC.
- Head over to Dough-Joe’s for a freshly-brewed coffee and homemade doughnuts! This
cozy cafe is the perfect place to study or grab brunch with friends. Their apple cider
doughnut and fall spice latte will be sure to put you in the fall spirit! - Go for a hike at Pilot Mountain State Park! Only a 20 minute drive from Wake Forest’s
campus, this is the perfect way to get some exercise while enjoying some beautiful fall
views. - Enjoy a movie night with friends! Whether you watch a horror film or your favorite
comfort movie, there is nothing better than a cozy movie night complete with popcorn
and pajamas. - Have a baking night! Grab the ingredients to make your favorite cookies or brownies,
and spend the evening baking and listening to music with friends. Then, enjoy the sweet
treats you made while watching your favorite TV show or movie! - Go to a local pumpkin patch! Hawks Pumpkin Patch is only about 10 minutes away from
campus. A classic and fun fall tradition, you can pick a pumpkin to carve or decorate
your dorm with, or take some cute pictures with friends! - Try to find your way out of a corn maze! Another classic fall tradition, a corn maze is a
fun activity to do with friends on the weekend. There are several corn mazes around
Winston-Salem, many of them less than 20 minutes away from campus! - Brave going to a haunted house! Spooky season is right around the corner, and nothing
screams Halloween more than a haunted house. If you’re brave enough, grab a group of
friends and head to Wicked Whimsies, a haunted trail only 15 minutes away from
campus!
