Halloween is a time for dressing up, going out or staying in for a night, becoming someone else. It’s right around the corner, here’s a list of things to do this Halloween.
1. A Halloween-Themed Movie Night

Have a Movie Night! Whether you’re introverted and don’t really like going out or just want a chill Halloween, having a movie night is a great idea. Stack up on your favorite movies (scary or fall-themed), grab a couple of your favorite candies, bake some cookies and have a great stay-in Halloween.
2. Attend a Costume Party

A tradition as old as ever – especially for college students. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with costume parties, especially with all these new movies and pop culture events to take inspiration from. Find a party, put on your best fit, grab your closest friends and have some (safe) fun!
3. Fall Festival
Fall festivals are another great thing to do during Halloween/Falltime. Fall festivals can be thrown by churches or local counties and are usually open to all. Grab your friends (or go alone) and have some cider, eat pumpkin-inspired foods and eat a lot of candy.
4. Visit a Pumpkin Patch

Another classic fall activity. Pumpkin patches are not only for kids, despite how it might seem. You can still pick some pumpkins or go through a corn maze and have some fun! Plus, it’s a suuuper cute spot to take pictures.
5. Go to a Trunk-or-Treat
Trunk-or-Treats are safer ways to “trick-or-treat”. People decorate cars and give out things like candy and decorations and play games from their trunk (sounds weird, but it’s safe!). As always, be safe and mindful should you decide to go to a trunk-or-treat this year!
6. Go to a Halloween-Themed Restaurant
Some restaurants have halloween-themed menus or just decorate in a spooky style for halloween! If you live near the DC area and are looking for some places to stop by, there’s a great list right here.
Halloween can be a great time to have fun, spooky or not. Remember to have fun in your own way and stay safe this Halloween!
