‘Tis the season which means festive parties and soirĂ©es are upon us! Although it may feel like studying and finals are all-consuming, Christmas is imminent, so we must prepare our wardrobes for the upcoming yuletide cheer. Based on your major at Brown, I have organized outfit inspiration for any Christmas party you might attend. 

If you’re studying…

International & Public Affairs, Public Policy, or Public Health

You are curious and investigative with international events and human encounters. Your Christmas attire will likely include relevant fashion trends as you eagerly embrace newness. This year, you wear a dress or skirt with feathered details on the trim and add sparkly accessories and jewelry. 

Neuroscience, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics

You’re constantly on the go. From lab groups to exams, winter break is your time to relax. Your attire can be equal parts comfortable and celebratory if you wear a two-piece knit set. Select a color scheme and pair knitted pants with a complimentary sweater. Finish the look with faux fur mules for a festive touch that does not compromise your comfort. 

English, Classics, or Art History

Maggie Seidel is the President of the Her Campus at Brown chapter. In this role, she oversees and recruits new members and writers, produces content for Pinterest and Instagram, manages the calendar, editorial process, and brand partnerships, leads weekly meetings and outreach, and contributes weekly articles. Maggie studies International & Public Affairs and Entrepreneurship, and she is a current junior. She is also a chair on the executive leadership team of Brown University's Women in Business, a teaching assistant for an entrepreneurship class at Brown, and a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
