Have you ever heard of rose water? While some of you may have, but if you have not and are looking for something new to give your face a refreshment during the day, well here it is. Recently I have incorporated it into my skin routine, and it has worked wonders. I also had never heard of it until I saw it on TikTok in an interview with Salma Hayek asking her what her secret was to the glowing of her skin. After looking in the comment section I immediately ran to look more into it online. There are a variety of brands out there that carry their own spray or drop bottles of rose water. Although I haven’t tried them all yet, the brand I got I don’t plan to look any further since I believe it must be the best. It has given my face the rejuvenation it needed, and the brand is also cruelty free. It is Fleur & Bee’s line of rose water toner, the reviews were amazing when I found it, so I bought it right away. Here are reasons from Fleur & Bee as to why you should add it into your skincare. Â Â
- It balances skin’s natural oils  Â
- While eating a well-balanced diet can help support your oily to dry skin. Rose water alone can balance whatever oils that occur either with the content your intake or happen naturally. This creates hydration with a few sprays from their bottle and a refreshed feeling that you can do daily. Â Â
- Reducing temporary redness  Â
- With the other products you use, or with sensitive skin, it can lead to instances of it being irritated and red. Rose water can calm any redness, it being an anti-inflammatory supplement can help reduce large pores as well. Â Â
- Antioxidant properties Â
- Over many years people have used this for antiaging and hydrating as a natural ingredient to apply to your skin. I can’t believe I have never heard of it until now. Â Â
- That lovely rose smells  Â
- I use it every morning, midday and at night I live for the smell of it. Â
Pure rose water is great for all skin types, it is completely safe to include for a wakeup call to your skin. You can add this as a toner right after cleansing your skin, then resume into the routine whether that be continued with serums, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen, or using it alone with no other treatments. I have yet to run into horrible breakouts and my face never feels dry since using it.  Â
