On Dec. 22, Julien Solomita and Jenna Marbles (Maury), my internet mom and dad, finally tied the knot. Julien took to Instagram to share a few snaps from their private wedding, including photos of Jenna in her dress alongside their adorable dogs. He captioned the post, “married otters <3" — and I'm obsessed. The post has over 1.3 million likes, and is growing by the day. Fans, and fellow internet celebrities, flooded the comments with support. Myself included, obviously.
ICYMI: Jenna and Julien have been one of the internet’s most beloved, and longest lasting, couples to date. They’ve been together since 2013, and the entire internet has been invested in their love story. The two have collaborated on countless videos on both Jenna and Julien’s channels until June 2020, when Jenna left YouTube. In a since-deleted video titled, “A Message,” Jenna cited the backlast against old videos and burnout as the reasons why she decided the leave the internet. Since then, aside from an appearance on Julien’s Instagram post and a fan spotting, Jenna has been off the grid. I know I speak for all of us when I say that even a glimpse of Jenna warms the heart — she’s the ultimate comfort YouTuber.
When Did Jenna And Julien Get Married?
On Dec. 22, Julien uploaded a video titled, “i got married” where he gave details about the couple’s big day. According to Julien, the two had gotten married at the beginning of November, but chose to keep things under wraps until now. Additionally, the two actually thrifted their wedding ‘fits. “I’m happy to marry the girl of my dreams,” Julien said in the video. “I’m a married man, can’t believe it.” So. Stinking. Cute.
After the announcement of their wedding, fans have been showing the couple lots of love on social media. While it’s unknown when, or if, Jenna will return to the internet, I know that all of us are just so happy for her and Julien. Just, keep the wedding pics coming… okay?
