One of the easiest ways to get into the Christmas spirit is to watch some Christmas movies. Netflix has tons of options ranging from classics we all know and love and brand new Christmas movies that have recently been released.
1. The Christmas Chronicles
The Christmas Chronicles was released on Netflix in 2018. It is about two siblings who want to catch Santa on Christmas Eve, but when their plan eventually goes sideways, they join forces with Santa to save Christmas. It is a very cute movie for anyone to enjoy. If you enjoy this movie, The Christmas Chronicles 2 was released in 2020!
2. Holidate
Holidate, starring Emma Roberts, was released in 2020. It is a romantic comedy about two strangers who are sick of being single for the holidays. They agree to be each other’s plus ones for a whole year, but only as friends. However, they end up catching feelings along the way. This movie is a great one to watch!
3. White Christmas
White Christmas, which was made in 1954, is considered one of the Christmas classics. If you are not really into newer Christmas movies, this one’s for you. The movie is about two friends who fought in the war together. They meet two sisters and follow them to a resort. The resort is owned by their former commanding officer and he is in danger of losing his resort. This is a great Christmas classic to watch!
4. A Bad Moms Christmas
A Bad Moms Christmas, released in 2017, is a Christmas comedy movie. It follows a group of moms who are scrambling around to make Christmas perfect for their families. It gets worse when their mothers show up and they now have to host them. This movie is so funny and definitely one of my favorites!
5. Falling for Christmas
Falling for Christmas, starring Lindsay Lohan, is brand new to Netflix this holiday season. The movie is about a spoiled heiress who loses her memory in a skiing accident. She ends up getting taken care of by a widower and his daughter at Christmas time. This is one of my new favorites and it’s definitely worth watching!
Netflix has definitely stepped up its game and added new movies to watch during the holidays. These are only five of my favorites, but there are many others to choose from!
