Zodiac Signs as Pixie Hollow Fairies

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mt Holyoke chapter.

The world of Pixie Hollow from the Disney Tinkerbell film franchise is full of a colorful cast of loveable fairies, all unique in their own personalities and, of course, their iconic talents. After conducting *very* scholarly research of YouTube clips and Disney Wiki articles, meticulously analyzing the personality types of all the fairies for the better part of an afternoon (instead of doing my homework, I might add), and reading up on more information about astrology than probably any human being needs, I took the liberty of ascertaining the Disney fairy that matches each zodiac sign. Read the article below to see how your sign compares with Tinkerbell and her friends!

Aries – Vidia

Definitely the one who took the Pixie Hollow Games way too seriously. You’re competitive and ambitious, sometimes to the point of selfishness or childishness when you don’t get your way. While you can be impulsive and hot headed, your independence, tenacity, and goal-oriented nature makes you a natural born leader, unafraid to chart your own path and fly high (and also really, really fast).

Taurus – Terence

Very much the Hufflepuff of the astrological signs, you are an incredibly down-to-earth, warm, and generous person, always there to provide that helpful supportive character energy–you literally bring the pixie dust to the lives of those around you. You sometimes don’t know when to set boundaries, but in the end, you are always well-meaning, making you the most loyal friend in Pixie Hollow (not to mention that Tauruses are very compatible with Leos *wink wink*).

Gemini – Periwinkle

As the literal twin of Tinkerbell, it makes sense to assign Gemini to Periwinkle. However, she embodies many of the other traits of the sign as well, especially in her curious nature and desire to discover and inquire into all the world has to offer her. However, this can make you a bit restless or flighty–torn between worlds, one might even say?

Cancer – Fairy Mary

Though at first glance you may come across as having a tough or temperamental exterior, once that outer shell is broken through, you are actually a secret softie with an incredibly compassionate, nurturing, and sentimental personality. You have a strong sense of responsibility that’s great for getting the job done and makes you a rock in and out of the workspace.

Leo – Tinkerbell

You’ve got main character energy, babe. You’re outgoing, bubbly, and love being the center of attention. While this can blindside you and sometimes lead to self-centeredness, stubbornness, or jealousy, you possess an inspiring self-assuredness in your identity, desires, and skills that makes you a force to be reckoned with.

Virgo – Iridessa

You are the mom/therapist friend, probably always checking in to make sure the girlies are hydrating and eating regular meals. While you can be a bit of a perfectionist, sometimes to the point of obsession, you quite literally bring warmth and light to people around you, and your observant, sensible, analytical nature means you’re great at problem-solving.

Libra – Queen Clarion

As the great diplomats of the signs, Libras share the most in common with the Pixie Hollow ruler herself, Queen Clarion. You might sometimes hide your true feelings and make personal compromises for the sake of avoiding conflict, but this also means you’re great at negotiating and keeping balance and order. This makes you an incredible communicator, listener, and leader, so keep reigning, queen.

Scorpio – Rosetta

Just like Rosetta, you have an enchanting, irresistible personality that demands the attention of the room. That being said, you don’t like to be outshone, and sometimes this can make you a bit vain and conceited (you also probably don’t like mud–ironic, isn’t it?). You’re known for your assertion and tell-it-like-it-is attitude, and while sometimes you’re a bit over the top, you’re also a loyal, charming, passionate friend who’s very comfortable in their own skin.

Sagittarius – Fawn

You give strong golden retriever energy, and that’s great for an animal fairy! You are very extroverted and fun to be around, and your free-spirited, adventurous soul is infectious (even if it sometimes gets you into Neverbeast-sized trouble). Like Fawn, you are a natural trail blazer and independent thinker intent on going off the beaten path and being true to yourself.

Capricorn – Minister of Spring

You are an immensely disciplined, reliable, and sometimes traditional and stoic individual. Though sometimes seen as a workaholic and stickler for the rules (becoming particularly anxious and uptight when things don’t go according to your plan), your tenacious and incredibly hardworking personality makes you a force to be reckoned with, and people often look to you for stability and consultation. Just remember to lighten up a bit every now and then!

Aquarius – Bobble

Known for your eccentric, imaginative identity, you are a person who is hungry for the knowledge, intellect, and invention expected of a tinker fairy. Your independent, contemplative nature may set you apart from the crowd, but your creativity is an asset for exploring new concepts, understanding and bettering the world around you, and constantly seeking to expand your knowledge.

Pisces – Silvermist

Like Silvermist, you’re very attuned with the world around you and able to appreciate the little things in life. While you can sometimes come across as a bit ditzy, dreamy, and up in the clouds, you march to the beat of your own drum and your empathetic, affectionate attributes make you an indispensable friend to have around.
