February seems to have flown by, and while I’m not finished with my February release radar (I’m still trying to figure out Pope, Kiara, & JJ’s love triangle from Outer Banks Season 3), I don’t have much time before a new month of series premieres and movies arrives on my watchlist.
March is shaping up to be a binge-worthy month, with the return of some household favorite shows for an additional season, more installments of film franchises, and the farewell of some of the most iconic (and mostly unexpected) television series. It’s time for me to watch some of the new premieres while eating popcorn and even possibly host a binge-watching party with my friends.
Disney+
The Mandalorian Season 3 (March 1)
As if all eyes aren’t on the most recent heartthrob, Pedro Pascal, he’ll also be reprising his role as the title character in the third season of The Mandalorian, which premieres on March 1. According to the Daily Beast‘s Obsessed column, the third season will feature Mando and Grogu on their way to Mandalore with the hope that Din can be forgiven for his crimes and that other living beings will be able to see his face after the removal of his helmet.
Netflix
Sex/Life Season 2 (March 2)
With Netflix announcing on Twitter last month that the new season of Sex/Life would be “back and bigger than ever,” fans are eager to see what the new season will bring. When we last saw these characters in Season 1, we were left with the shocking cliffhanger that Billie had returned to her ex-boyfriend, Brad. What effect will this have on her seemingly improving relationship with her husband? Will this be the beginning of a new romance? There’s only one way to find out: Add this thrilling drama series to your watchlist in time for its March 2 premiere.
You Season 4 Part 2 (March 9)
Following the release of the first installment of the fourth season on Feb. 9, the explosive psychological thriller returns with the second part of the season, which should hopefully answer more of the fans’ lingering questions. The trailer for the second part shocked fans with what appears to be the return of Joe’s old obsession, Love. Can I first unpack the fifth episode’s ending? Follow Joe as he continues down the rabbit hole of lies, murders, stalking, and the wealthy elite.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 (March 16)
The popular television adaptation of the beloved book series has been extended for a second season. After the major cliffhanger of Season 1, Shadow and Bone Season 2 continues with Alina Starkov and her possible final battle with Kirigan. Can she destroy him once and for all?
Love is Blind Season 4 (March 24)
With the release of Love is Blind Season 3: After the Altar last month, Netflix’s popular dating show is back! In an Entertainment Tonight interview, co-host Vanessa Lachey teased Season 4 in three words: “Soon. Marriage. Runaway.” It’s time to get ready for another season of romance and heartbreak on March 24.
Amazon Prime Video
Daisy Jones & The Six (March 3)
This Prime Video miniseries follows a fictional 1970s band led by Daisy Jones, a singer-songwriter, and Billy Dunne, the lead singer of a rock band called The Six. The series is a television adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s popular novel of the same name, and it follows the band’s meteoric rise and fall. The series first airs on March 3 and episodes will be released weekly until its conclusion. As a band-obsessed fangirl, you can bet I’ll be watching the series premiere of the highly anticipated feature.
NBC
The Voice Season 23 (March 6)
The news that Blake Shelton will leave The Voice at the end of the season has added to the anticipation for what the show’s premiere entails. The reality singing competition has had its fair share of judges, and this season features a very iconic lineup, including one particular judge: Niall Horan. Yes, the former member of One Direction himself. Prepare for some friendly competition and some battle of the voices.
SHOWTIME
Yellowjackets season 2 (March 24)
Yellowjackets takes place simultaneously in 1996 and the present day, in which a New Jersey high school soccer team is stranded in a forest due to a crash on their way to a championship game in 1996, and the events of the present day follow some of the survivors who have had to deal with that trauma for more than two decades. Come along to see where this twisted fate of friendship and survival leads in the second season.
HBO Max
Succession Season 4 (March 24)
Kendall, Shiv, and Roman compete for the highest-ranking position at their father’s media firm in Season 4. This season will be the final of the award-winning series, but it will not be without a good dose of drama and thriller. Get prepared for March 24!
The CW
Riverdale Season 7 (March 29)
The Riverdale franchise has certainly had its fair share of twists and turns over the years, especially considering the ending of Season 6, which featured Cheryl saving the world from a comet but sending the gang back to the year 1955 as teenagers in the process. The seventh season will be the final installment of the show, with the premiere airing on March 29. There is no telling what to expect from this season, but one thing is certain: It will end in true Riverdale fashion, with an unexpected turn of events.

Creed III (March 3)
Adonis Creed has spent the last seven years fulfilling his dreams of becoming a professional boxer and carrying on his father’s legacy, but the saga continues with the return of someone from his past. The plot revolves around family, drama, and, of course, the sport of boxing.
Scream VI (March 10)
Horror movie buffs, your wait is over. The sixth installment of the Scream film franchise is back on March 10. The film stars Hollywood household names such as Jenna Ortega, who plays Tara Carpenter, following the film’s standard storyline of Ghostface reappearing to prey on a group of teenagers.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods (March 17)
After being given superpowers and an adult alter ego, Billy Baston and the rest of the foster kids are back and still juggling being teenagers while also learning their superhero capabilities. Oh, yeah — they also have to save the world in the process. The second installment of the DC film series follows Atlas’s daughters as they hunt down the team for stealing the Gods’ power.
Louis Tomlinson’s All of Those Voices (March 22)
Niall Horan isn’t the only One Direction member with a feature debuting this month; Louis Tomlinson’s highly anticipated documentary film will be released in theaters on March 22. The film picks up immediately after One Direction’s 2016 split and follows Tomlinson’s journey of discovering his own sound away from the group while also dealing with personal tragedy, the highs and lows of fame, and life as a father.
