As a college student, I craved the love of an animal. Obviously caring for an animal in college is something that can be difficult. I am traditionally a dog person, and fostering Arthur was my first time owning a cat in any capacity. However, the entire experience was something I would recommend to just about anyone. I had all my roommates on board, but overall having a cat in college is generally low maintenance, especially as a foster. Through Austin Pets Alive I fostered Arthur who had all his shots and vaccines covered. If you foster through APA you can also get all your cat’s medical expenses covered. Overall, if youā€™re looking for a cat I would highly suggest fostering through AUSTIN Pets Alive. The process is very easy and I have a lot of fond memories of Arthur who has now been successfully adopted!
