Warning: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 4 ahead. Oh, man… this is some tea. Season 4 of Love Is Blind has been an absolutely wild ride. And, with the finale just a few days away, fans are anxious to see the fate of some of their favorite couples. (Tiffany and Brett stans, WYA?) While many dedicated viewers have their focus on the committed and strong partnerships of the season, my eye has been on one of the messier plot points: the Jackie, Marshall, and Josh love triangle.
ICYMI, here’s the rundown. In the pods, Jackie struggled to choose between fan-favorite Marshall and “bad boy” (note the air quotes, bestie) Josh. By the end of the first batch of episodes, Jackie made up her mind, broke things off with Josh, and chose to pursue her relationship with Marshall. However, things didn’t stay perfect for long, especially when the couple returned to the “real world.”
Marshall and Jackie began arguing frequently about their differences, and their disagreements came to a climax when Marshall called Jackie a “project,” she expressed her resentment with his lack of “aggression,” and the two revealed their frustrations with their sex life. After the fight, the two briefly separated before meeting up again at fellow cast member Chelsea’s birthday party. But what makes this whole thing even messier is that Josh, Jackie’s ex from the pods, showed up to agitate Marshall and profess his feelings for Jackie. To end the episode on a cliffhanger, Josh challenges Jackie on her decision to pursue Marshall and asks if she’d rather be with him instead. It’s a classic “who will she choose?” moment.
The finale of the season hits Netflix on April 7, and the reunion will take place live on April 16, so the fate of Marshall, Jackie, and Josh is a bit uncertain. However, the internet has a way of revealing spoilers in spite of roadblocks — and there might be an answer as to who Jackie chooses. Hate to break it to you, Team Marshall. It’s not looking good.
On April 3, a TikTok user by the name of @snowflake1971 posted a video showing Jackie and Josh attending the Seattle Mariners baseball game on April 2. While this isn’t a confirmation that the two are engaged, let alone dating, it’s definitely telling that they’re spending time together post-show. Her Campus reached out to Netflix for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication.
Naturally, fans aren’t too happy about the perceived couple. To make matters worse, it looks as though Jackie is wearing the same jacket that Josh wore to Chelsea’s birthday party. One user wrote, “I already knew this was going to happen,” while another chimed in saying, “You gotta be kidding.” Yikes.
Additionally, fans of the show are wondering if the sighting breaks any contract the cast has to sign. One user wrote, “I didn’t realize they would be out in public until all the episodes aired.” Same, bestie.
While Jackie and Josh have yet to confirm their relationship status, I know one thing for sure: This reunion is about to be wild, and I’m going to need a whole bottle of wine to get through it.
