With all of the streaming platforms nowadays, it can be hard to sift through what’s worth watching and what deserves a skip. From the tried and true to new releases, here’s my Saturday night “must binge” list.

Netflix Faves

The Murdaugh Murders: Unless you live under a rock, I can almost guarantee you’ve heard all about the recent indictment of Alex Murdaugh. This series is a short and sweet three episode-long series, each episode being 50-60 minutes long. It takes you through the intricate details of the Murdaugh family history and is guaranteed to make your jaw drop.

New Girl: This is one of my tried and true must-binge/always-binging classics. If you haven’t seen it, but you’re a fan of Friends and The Office, it’s a must-watch. This show is a funny, feel-good show that’s perfect for a study break or keeping your mind off of upcoming exams.

Wednesday: Okay…I know this one is kind of old news. But if you haven’t seen it, you need to ASAP. If you’ve already seen it, it’s definitely worth the rewatch. I took an entire Saturday to watch the whole series, which should prove how attention-grabbing it is. Jenna Ortega’s spin on Wednesday is so good, you’ll almost forget she’s acting. As a fan of some dark humor, this satisfied my cravings for some good old-fashioned mystery and comedy all in one.

Too Hot to Handle: With season five heading our way, right now is a perfect time to catch up on the last four seasons with your favorite havoc-wreaking cone Lana. This show is the perfect balance of love, sex, competition and reality TV. There is always jaw-dropping drama that will leave you screaming at contestants through your laptop screen.

MH370- This is one of my most recent binges. Most of us remember when the flight first disappeared, and I, for one, have always wanted some answers. The mystery of this case goes WAY deeper than I ever knew. You’ll be a master conspiracy theorist by the end of the series, and possibly left with more questions than answers, but it’s certainly an attention grabber and a must-watch if you love mystery.

Hulu Faves

Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: If your TikTok for you page looks anything like mine, you’re seeing and hearing about this show EVERYWHERE. It’s just as interesting as TikTok makes it look too. This show gives you SO much respect for NFL cheerleaders and everything they have to go through to accomplish their dreams and serves as some great workout motivation too.

The Kardashians: A spin-off of the “Keeping Up” series, The Kardashians gives you even more reality TV content while still keeping the family drama you know and love. Since the family is now producing the show themselves, you get even more content of them and their kids in their daily lives. The new season is coming out on May 25, so it’s the perfect time to get caught up on your Kim/Kanye drama and what the rest of the clan is up to.
