Just a five-minute drive from the Kent State University campus, MovieScoop is a theater located in the University Plaza in Kent. Showings start at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. There are also 6:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. showings that same night. Saturday and Sunday have the addition of a 2:20 p.m. showing.

Ravenna 7 Movies is a theater just outside of Kent and only a 14-minute drive. Movie times for the Eras Tour Movie include a 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 9:40 p.m. and a 10:40 p.m. showing on the movie’s release date, Oct. 13. The Saturday and Sunday showings include earlier times such as 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Ravenna 7 movies also have plush, reclinable seats, so you are sure to be comfortable while watching Taylor Swift perform on the big screen!

Just under a 20-minute drive from the Kent campus, Regal Hudson is another great location that will be screening the Eras Tour Movie. With similar showing times to the other theaters mentioned on the film’s release, regal Hudson also offers many more showings as early as 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday the 15.

If a normal theater isn’t quite your style, the Blue Sky drive-in theater will also be playing the Eras Tour Movie! While it is a bit further than the other theaters, about a 30-minute drive from campus, a drive-in is a great option for those who want to scream-sing all their favorite songs and get a more realistic Eras Tour feeling!

The making of friendship bracelets is highly encouraged for all Swifties attending the Eras Tour Movie. Anything to make the experience more real, am I right? You can find all the supplies you need at any local craft store. Any colorful beads that catch your eye, letter beads and some string are all you need. If you’re going with a group, you can get together and have a friendship bracelet-making party! Anything from Taylor’s song lyrics, to funny quotes she’s said are typically what you’d see on the bracelets. Get creative and have fun with it! A great source of inspiration is TikTok! If you plan on going to Blue Sky drive-in, pillows and blankets are for sure something you might want to bring to ensure a cozy night. Keep in mind the movie premiers in mid-October so it might be a little chilly out! All the more reason to bring your warmest blankets. Especially if you will be watching out of the trunk of your car and exposed to the cool, nighttime air.
