Get your popcorn ready, besties! The new terrifying, thrilling, and hilarious movies are one of the best parts of the spooky season, and the lineup of movies coming to your screens in 2023 looks promising. Though I’ll always have the tried and true classics, like Hocus Pocus or Beetlejuice, to fall back on every Halloween season, having new movies to watch has a way of getting me in the spooky mood.

These heavy-hitting movies have been hard to beat this year, but with the spooky season right around the corner, we’re ushering in new films that will definitely create some buzz (and screams). So, if you’re looking for a new Halloween movie to watch, whether that’s a comedy or a straight-up horror film, 2023 is delivering something for everyone this season! Without further ado, here are 9 Halloween movies you’ll want to check out this season! Â
