Some of the best places in Florida to go during the spooky season:
- Universal’s Hollywood Horror Nights- with 8 haunted houses with different themes, 3 scare zones, rides, and, of course, Halloween-themed treats and merchandise.
- Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream- with 5 haunted houses with different themes, 3 creepy shows, 6 scare zones, and, of course, the rides.
- Scream N’ Stream- A drive-thru haunted house and a scare zone.
- Scream-A-Geddon- with 6 attractions, you can mark yourself as an interactive, which means you can be touched and may go through special rooms, and they also offer paintball and food options.
- A Petrified Forest- Access to three scare trails, offers special days where you can be touched.
- Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail- offers a haunted hayride, 3 haunted trails, 2 escape rooms, and ax throwing.
If you want to take part in any of these scares, I have some suggestions:
- Buy your tickets in advance- Some of these events have tickets that sell out early.
- Plan your transportation- They all take place late at night, so plan out if you’re staying in the area or not.
- Wear comfortable clothes- Most of these places do not allow costumes, and you want to be comfortable because most contain a lot of walking.
- Have fun- Go with your family and friends, or make a date night out of it; not everyone gets to experience events like these.
