Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s mini fashion icon, North West — who’s been seen alongside her celebrity parents at various fashion shows and award ceremonies for years — is now creating a fun-loving presence on the TikTok account she shares with her mom. Over the weekend of Oct. 28, North West, 10, pulled at everyone’s heartstrings when a series of videos were posted of her dressed up for Halloween as her father’s Graduation bear from his critically-acclaimed album released in 2007. West has cosplayed her father before, but this one was even more iconic!
West has truly exemplified what it means to be a daddy’s girl and her father’s biggest fan. In the series of TikTok videos, she danced in baggy navy blue sweatpants, white sneakers, and a multicolored letterman jacket. On her head, she donned the infamous furry bear head and paws that were featured on the Graduation album cover, designed by Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. In the second video of the short series, fans got a peek of West’s face as she danced to the song “American Boy,” sung by British singer Estelle, which also features her dad and John Legend. In the third video, North revealed herself from under the huge bear’s head, singing the lyrics to “I Wonder,” a heartfelt ballad of sorts that was featured on the Grammy award-winning Graduation album. It’s safe to say North West won Halloween this year.
Besides wearing the infamous bear head, West also appeared wearing her father’s infamous diamond Jesus chain. I don’t know about you, but this is one of the most iconic pop culture moments from this year in my book. There’s also a chance fans may see more Halloween looks from West, as her mom captioned the initial reveal with “Halloween look one.” Everyone knows the Kardashian crew takes the holiday season to a whole new level every year, but what else could they be planning?!
I’m sure they’ll remain tight-lipped until the final reveal, but fingers crossed that West dresses up as her dad again!
