These 2023 Celebrity Halloween Costumes Absolutely Win The Holiday

Updated Published

Whether Halloween is your excuse to go out and party or stay at home and watch scary movies, one of the best parts of this iconic holiday is seeing everyone’s fire costumes on your Instagram feed. That doesn’t just include friends, family, and classmates, but also celebrities! While I can only dream of having the money and sheer ability to pull off such top-tier Halloween looks, I am always seated for a good serve, and these Halloween 2023 celebrity costumes did just that. Some celebrities opted for easy yet stunning last-minute costumes, while others clearly put tons of effort into their Halloween looks. From Megan Thee Stallion’s detailed Tim Burton-inspired look to Renee Rapp’s iconic take on Pamela Anderson, I think we can all agree that 2023 is one of the best years for celebrity Halloween costumes!

Many of this year’s celebrity Halloween costumes also go to show that if you chose to procrastinate your costume-planning process, you’re not out of luck. For example, Kendall Jenner’s Marilyn Monroe costume only requires a black turtleneck and blonde wig. Ice Spice’s Betty Boop look is easily achievable with a short, dark-haired wig and red mini dress. If you’re looking for a seriously last-minute Halloween costume, a few of these celebrities have crafted the perfect looks that you can easily recreate with what you have at home.

Kendall Jenner

Despite throwing the Halloween party of the century, the Kardashians seemed to opt for more effortless and comfortable Halloween costumes that they pulled off flawlessly. Kendall Jenner wore a black turtleneck with a blonde wig to recreate Marilyn Monroe’s iconic 1953 LIFE magazine photo shoot. I wish I could look this fab in such a simple outfit.

Sabrina Carpenter

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair! Sabrina Carpenter also spent Halloween at the Kardashians’ party in Los Angeles, and this Rapunzel ‘fit looks so cute on her. Between this look and the Feather music video release, Carpenter fans are being fed well.

avan jogia & halsey

The former Nickelodeon star and singer went as a pirate and Calypso. Halsey used products from her own makeup line, About Face Beauty, to achieve this look. She even quoted one of her own songs, “The Lighthouse,” when showing off the sea-inspired costume on Instagram.

kelsea ballerini

Hi Barbie! Kelsea Ballerini chose one of this year’s most popular Halloween costumes and rocked it like no other. Since pink is SO her color and she’s a country singer, I can’t think of a costume more fitting for her than Western Barbie.

ice spice

She may be a powerhouse on stage, but Ice Spice has the personality of Betty Boop. This costume suits her so well, and her hair and makeup team did a fantastic job!

megan thee stallion

Every year, Megan Thee Stallion hosts an annual “Hottieween” costume party, and this time around, the theme was Tim Burton. She went as the Talking Flower from Alice In Wonderland, which might be the most creative and specific costume I’ve seen this year.

north west

Having famous parents can be rough sometimes, but they can come in handy as great Halloween costume inspo. North West dressed up as the Graduation bear from her father Kanye West’s award-winning album.

keke palmer

Keke Palmer and her son, Leodis Andrellton, were SO coordinated and adorable this year. Palmer dressed up Leodis as a little Frankenstein, and she herself went as the bride of Frankenstein. Cheers to Palmer’s first Halloween as a mother!

reneé rapp

Reneé Rapp is everyone’s favorite Gen Z icon, and she was born the year after Pamela Anderson wore her iconic pink look to the 1999 VMAs. But she recreated it so beautifully that my jaw dropped — she even nailed the infamous fluffy pink hat.

charli & dixie d’amelio

Ever since their rise to fame in 2019, fans have looked forward to seeing the D’Amelio’s Halloween outfits every year. Since the TikTok-famous sisters attended multiple events, we got to see them rocking lots of different costumes in one weekend.

hailey bieber

Hailey Bieber dressed up as one of the most timeless and iconic spooky characters — Carmen Electra from Scary Movie. She looks stunning in these pictures she shared to Instagram. In one of them, she’s standing next to a man in a Ghostface mask, and quite a few fans are wondering if it’s Justin.

saweetie

What a scarily flawless take on Edward Scissorhands! Saweetie really embodies the character in this video. This one looks like it took hours to perfect, and I’m here for it.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum’s Halloween costumes are my Roman Empire. The bar was set with her worm costume in 2022 but she somehow managed to raise it even higher. While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 27, Klum revealed that her 2023 look would require her to “close a few streets down” in NYC. Of course, Klum wowed everyone with her giant peacock sotume on the red carpet of her annual Halloween party, which she admitted took six hours to put together.

Ariana Grande & Liz Gillies

As usual, my favorite Nickelodeon dynamic duo killed it. The friendship between Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies has captured hearts since 2009, and their annual BFF Halloween costumes have become a huge part of it! This year, they brought the house down with their Showgirls-inspired looks.

Diddy

I’d do anything to get in this Batmobile! Between the suit, mask, belt, and even the garage and car, Diddy was really committed to the bit. Dare I say he won Halloween?
