Taylor Swift knows how to cause a frenzy amongst her fans — and the most recent merch drop on her website proved this. On Nov. 13, the singer’s website released new and old merch items to each album shop. The merch included everything from adorable Christmas ornaments to sought-after merch items from the singer’s past tours. Of course, Swifties flocked to the website as soon as the merch dropped and most items sold out within minutes. For some, the website crashed before they were able to look through the different items available for purchase.
Those who didn’t get a chance to buy this set of merch may be wondering if there will be a restock sometime soon. Here’s what we know so far.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy purchasing celebrity merch just as much as the next person, but I knew Swift’s latest merch drop was going to be complete chaos. Before the merch dropped, the website had a clock counting down. Most Swifties didn’t know what was in store. While some thought a new cardigan or signed CDs for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) were coming, others theorized that The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection was going to be available on the website. Much to everyone’s surprise, the site released various merch items for shops for each of Swift’s most recent album releases.
What was included in the holiday merch drop?
Before everything sold out, many items were available for purchase. Not only did the new holiday line include merch sold during Swift’s previous tours, such as a white hoodie with a snake design and the black cropped hoodie with cutouts on the shoulders from the Reputation era, but there was also merch from all of Swift’s re-released album drops.
Of course, fans didn’t waste time adding items to their online carts. Unfortunately, not everyone got their hands on these holiday merch items and took to Twitter to share their devastation.
Will The Album Shops Have A Merch ReStock?
Although I wish there was a direct answer to this, no one knows if these items will be restocked. Though Swift’s website has had restocks in the past, most of her merch hasn’t been restocking recently.
Now, I’m not saying a restock of the holiday merch is impossible but right now, it’s not looking very promising. But we can always keep hope alive that more merch will be added to the website.
