Here’s How You Can Photoshop Your Spotify Wrapped Results

Spotify Wrapped is my Super Bowl. Getting my Spotify Wrapped around this time every year is honestly one of my favorite things about social media, and there is nothing I take more seriously than my Spotify Wrapped. However, this year I was kind of shocked by my stats. I did not listen to nearly as much music as I anticipated, and my top songs were not what I expected. While I still shared my Wrapped with my Instagram followers, friends and family, and other social media (I told you already, Spotify Wrapped is my child), I do wish some of the results were different from what I got. Enter: The magic of Photoshop. 

Now, I’m not condoning lying and deceiving your friends, Instagram followers, and fellow Wrapped-obsessors. However, a little Photoshop never hurt anybody! I’ll be the first to say that I have not photoshopped my Spotify Wrapped (yet
), but if I were to, it’s honestly not that hard to do. 

If your top song was embarrassing, or your total minutes listened to were lower than you expected, here are a few ways you can Photoshop your Spotify Wrapped results. And no, you don’t have to be a Photoshop wizard or the pro Facetuner of the friend group. All you need is an image of your Spotify Wrapped stats you want to share and Snapchat.

Save Your Spotify Wrapped Recap To Your Camera Roll.

First things first, save the part of your Wrapped recap that you want to Photoshop. If you are planning on Photoshopping the standard recap that most people share, you can find it at the end of your Wrapped. 

Click the “Share” button, and save the image to your camera roll by clicking “download.” It’s as simple as that! Now here’s where the real fun comes in. 

Open or Download Snapchat.

If you don’t have Snapchat, do yourself a favor and download it, even if it’s just for Photoshopping your Wrapped. After you open the app, scroll down into your memories, click camera roll, and select your Wrapped. 

Hold down on the photo, and click “edit photo.” After this, you will see lots of icons on the right side of your screen (this is your photoshopping!). 

Now, you have several options here. If you are planning on simply changing a top song or artist, here’s how you can do so. Start by clicking the pencil icon, and selecting the color that most closely matches with the background color of your Wrapped. TBH, it might be easiest to save the Wrapped image with the black background, because the color matching won’t be a problem. 

After this, pencil over the song/artist as closely as you can. Then, scroll through the fonts and find the one that most closely matches up with the font Spotify has. 

Additionally, you can use a generative AI tool on Adobe Photoshop to change your results. Working with Photoshop can be challenging, though, with little experience — but a quick YouTube search can give you all of the answers you need.

Last, But Not Least, Share With Your Instagram Followers.

OK, so you have a couple of options here. First, you can decide to do all your photoshopping on Instagram as well. (I find Snapchat to be easiest, but to each their own.) Second, I would advise scrolling through the fonts on Instagram as well, because I think some of them look cleaner than the ones on Snapchat. 

Now, add a fun caption, and share your Wrapped with your followers. Make sure to do a double (if not triple) take before posting to make sure you have no mistakes. 

If the whole photoshopping thing isn’t for you, you’re not alone. Personally, I would be way too worried that somebody could figure out I photoshopped my stats, and I can’t deal with that embarrassment.
