“It’s the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you be of good cheer
It’s the most wonderful time of the year” – Andy Williams
There are a bunch of different things that people will tell you when you ask them what is the first thing that comes into their minds when they hear the word Christmas. Some people may say the first thing that comes to mind is Family, friends, secret gift exchange parties, snow, love, church services, and so much more. There are a lot of different ways that people may celebrate Christmas and I would love to share with everyone some of the ways that I plan on making the most of this beautiful Christmas season.
- Food and Drinks: There are a lot of ways that I can romanticize food and drinks to honor the Christmas season. One way I plan on romanticizing food and drinks is by drinking Christmas-themed drinks, such as the festive seasonal drinks from Starbucks, such as the very yummy sugar cookie blended Frappuccino drink that tastes just like a sugary Christmas cookie. Another way I plan on romanticizing food and drinks is by drinking a lot of warm drinks such as Coffee and Hot chocolate with marshmallows in super cute Christmas mugs to get in the Christmas spirit. I also plan on eating Christmas-themed foods, such as Christmas tree-shaped cookies and the Sugar plum cheese Danish holiday treat from Starbucks that tastes just like Christmas with its special peppermint filling. 2. Movies: There are also a lot of ways that I plan on Romanizing movies as a way to make the most of the Christmas season. I plan to do that by watching some of my favorite Christmas classic movies, such as The Polar Express, Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and The Christmas Prince. I also love going back to watching some of the really old Christmas movies I would watch as a kid, such as Frosty the Snowman and old Disney channel Christmas-themed episodes a way to bring back a sentiment of Nostalgia and old Christmas traditions I engaged in as a kid. 3. Music: One way that I plan on Romanizing music to make the most of the Christmas season is by listening to classic Christmas songs. Some of my favorite Christmas songs to listen to are from the Glee Christmas soundtrack, such as Extraordinary Merry Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, Baby It’s Cold Outside, and of course Last Christmas. I also love listening to This Christmas, which is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I also cannot resist listening to some of the most beautiful Christmas songs: Holy Night and Silent Night. 4. Entertainment: There are a lot of enjoyable things I plan on doing for entertainment as a way to be able to make the most of this Christmas season and romanticize it. The first thing I plan on doing is going to a Christmas-themed amusement park called Winter Wonderland here in Miami Florida with my friends as a way for us to have fun on all the rides there while looking at the pretty Christmas decorations and lights there. Another fun thing I plan on doing for entertainment as a way to make the most of the Christmas season is hosting a Secret Santa gift exchange/Christmas party with my friends, as a way for us to all hang out and celebrate this beautiful holiday together. I also plan on going through drive-thru church events that host Nativity for the Holidays. –5. Clothing and Accessories: There are a lot of ways I plan on showing my festivity and Christmas spirit for the holidays through my fashion choices. I plan on taking the opportunity to wear a lot of Christmas-colored outfits, such as red and green tops, leather pants, and pearl white Christmas jackets. I also plan on getting my nails painted in Christmas colors and wearing super cute ugly Christmas sweaters. I also plan on wearing holiday-themed flannel PJs all season long and my super cute Christmas slippers from F21 that have a polar bear with a Santa hat on them. One of my favorite traditions for Christmas every year is to wake up Christmas morning in the cutest Christmas PJs and spend the whole day in them. 6. Decorating One of the coolest ways I love to show my Christmas spirit for the season is by my love of decorating my house for Christmas. It is one of my Christmas traditions to put up my Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving to kickstart celebrating the Christmas season as early as possible. Another family tradition is to always listen to Christmas music while we start decorating our house for Christmas. Every year we decorate our house for Christmas by putting up our artificial Christmas tree and decorating it with mostly stuffed animal ornaments. This year we changed it up a little by making it a bit more Hello Kitty and Sanrio-themed, by collecting a lot of Hello Kitty and Friends ornaments and putting them up on our tree. We also love to put up our stockings by the door and even make sure my dog has his stocking. LOL!
Overall, Christmas is such a beautiful and magical time and I love making the most of this wonderful season in all I do! I wish you all have the best and most magical Christmas ever this year!
