Gloomy weather. Back-to-back exams. Relationship conflicts. Walking up the dreaded hill that is Bentley’s campus. Some things just make life a little harder.
For whatever reason, I find that the spring semester tends to be more challenging than the fall (except, of course, the semester when I studied abroad). Maybe it’s the absence of fall colors and holiday spirit. Maybe it’s that slowly dwindling motivation we all had in September (you know, when studying was fun and trendy).
Whatever it is, I like to tackle these challenges by listening to music, mostly worship and indie/pop songs. I’ve curated multiple Spotify playlists for songs that motivate me, give me hope, or simply put me in a better mood. Here are some of my favorites.
