Marshall From ‘LIB’ Is Engaged & The Proposal Is Absolutely Beautiful

Marshall Glaze, certified lover-boy from Season 4 of Love Is Blind, is officially engaged to Dr. Chay Barnes! In a gorgeous video shared to Instagram on Jan. 23, Marshall surprised Chay with a rose petal path that led to glowing letters beaming the words “marry me.” Chay tearfully accepted the proposal before being surprised by friends and family for an emotional celebration. The video that captures the whole moment is absolutely stunning and radiates love through the screen.

If you didn’t get a chance to see LIB Season 4, you should, because it’s absolutely bonkers. But, as a recap, Marshall came on as a 27-year-old marketing manager looking for love. The sensitive, soft-spoken Marshall made a sight-unseen love connection with the outgoing, passionate Jackie Bonds, and the two got engaged after only 10 days in the pods. Seems like a recipe for success, right?

Well, their tumultuous relationship that followed could be used for the argument that opposites definitely do not attract. Jackie wanted more passion from Marshall while he was searching for a softer kind of love. Ultimately, Jackie broke off the engagement after a few weeks (and started dating fellow contestant Josh Demas). Shortly after, Marshall began dating his now-fiancee, Chay.

He first introduced nurse practitioner, Chay, at Love Is Blind: After The Altar which premiered in August 2023. In the episode, he excitedly told the other contestants about his relationship with Chay and even hinted that she was wife material. The man was down bad for her. When you know you know, I guess.

Now, they’re officially tying the knot and the two seem more in love than ever: just take a look at these engagement photos that they both shared on Instagram! They look like two peas in a pod (sorry, not funny). So, even though Love Is Blind didn’t bring Marshall the love he was looking for, it led him to his, hopefully, forever person. Congrats to the happy couple!
