It’s pretty hard to avoid seeing Megan Thee Stallion’s name in the news these days, and I’m not mad about it. Since releasing her latest single “Hiss,” Megan has been a hot topic and it’s only going to continue. On Jan. 30, she announced on Good Morning America that the Hot Girl Summer Tour is happening this year. Then on March 20, Meg dropped her tour dates, opener, and ticket sale info. Get ready hotties!
Following the release of her single “Hiss” on Jan. 26, Meg’s was almost unavoidable on social media. The song includes a few digs at Nicki Minaj, and her husband Kenneth Perry, as well as Drake, Tory Lanez, and Pardison Fontaine. Despite Minaj’s response with her diss track “Big Foot,” which she released on Jan. 29, Meg has not responded.
While Meg may not be releasing a response to Minaj, she did announce that a new album is on the way in addition to her tour. Speaking with Good Morning America, the “Girls in the Hood” rapper announced that this will be her first-ever solo summer tour. “Oh, we’ve having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Sumer Tour is going to be 2024, summertime,” she said.

When do tickets go on sale?
When announcing her tour dates on March 20, Megan revealed that general admission tickets for the Hot Girl Summer Tour go on sale starting March 22 at 10 am local time. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the Ticketmaster battle.
For those who won’t be attending Megan Thee Stallion’s tour, don’t fret! When appearing on GMA back in January, the “Savage” rapper revealed that she’s also dropping a new album this summer.
“I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019,” she said. “So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.”
This will be Meg’s third studio release, with her latest being her album Traumazine, which dropped on Aug. 12, 2022. Traumazine featured songs like “Sweetest Pie” (feat. Dua Lipa) and “Plan B.”
In 2023, Meg’s name was almost inescapable in the media. Following Tory Lanez’s 10-year prison sentence for shooting Meg in the foot, her name was skewed in the media. Many people did not believe her, even some fellow A-listers. She spoke about this experience with GMA, and how it impacted her relationship with music. “It was really rough because for the past couple years, music just seemed so negative to me,” she said.
She added, “I just wasn’t in a good space mentally after everything that had happened to me and it just all felt like, ‘I’m tired of this. I’m tired of fighting.’ But I had to tell myself, you know what, I don’t want to give up.”
2024 is going to be quite the year for Meg, and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for her Hotties!
