Beyoncé’s soulful sounds anchor through my ears, Keyshia Cole’s angelic voice vibrates through the speakers, and Kelis’s unique sound vibrates through the air. There is nothing like classic R&B music playing at a kickback.

Whether you’re dancing to Usher’s buttery vocals while singing confessions or listening to Pharell’s innovative beats, these songs will leave you dancing the night away.

“Party”-Beyoncé feat Andre 3000

A kickback playlist is never complete without including “Party” by Beyonce. It’s a classic easily recognized by the infectious line, “I may be young, but I’m ready,” setting the tone for a great kickback.

“Foolish”-Ashanti

Ashanti’s “Foolish” is a timeless R&B record that is filled with smooth and buttery vocals, making it the perfect song to do a little slow two-step.

“Frontin (Club Mix)”-Pharrell Williams feat. Jay-Z

Pharrell effortlessly crafts a classic four-beat loop in his hits like “Frontin”, offering catchy melodies and a laid-back vibe anyone can dance to.

“Try Again”-Aaliyah

Timberland’s innovative beats and production flow seamlessly in this song. The late Aaliyah’s smooth and innovative harmonies in this song create a relaxed ambiance for a kickback.

“Buy U a Drank”-T-Pain feat. Yung Joc

T-Pain’s signature auto-tune sound makes this a classic R&B song. As soon as you hear “I’ma buy you a drink ooo wee,” drop everything you’re doing and dance the night away.

“Loveeeeeee Song”-Rihanna feat. Future

This song has all the feels and will leave you swaying and singing along to the infectious, “L-O-V-E-E-E.”

“Be Your Girl” (Kaytranda Edition)-Teedra Moses

This song invites you to dance like the iconic Boiler Room woman, with Kaytranada’s signature electronic elements complementing Teedra Moses’ captivating vocals.

“OMG”-Usher feat. Will.I.Am

Usher’s “OMG” was a classic club anthem in the early 2010’s. It is a staple throwback song with a euphoric element.

“Last Night”-Keyshia Cole

Keyshia Cole’s soulful vocals in “Last Night” captures the essence of heartache, complemented by its rhythmic production.

“Say Something”-Timbaland feat. Drake

This classic 2010’s song will always be a vibe with Drake’s classic vocals and Timbaland’s electronic beats, will always set the tone for the perfect vibe.

My favorite R&B songs bring together a diverse mix of songs that will guarantee a night filled with fun vibes.
