Miley Cyrus Has Divided The Internet With Her Very Large Grammys Hair

All eyes at the 2024 Grammys were on Miley Cyrus, who was nominated for six Grammy Awards. While fans are undoubtedly hooked to the “Flowers” singer for any upcoming wins, avid viewers couldn’t help but notice one particular essential part of Cyrus’ 2024 Grammys look: her hair.

It all began following Cyrus’ red carpet appearance when she was photographed wearing a vintage Maison Margiela gown entirely constructed of safety pins. Her hair was done like a blow-out, with her side bangs swept aside, and fans were divided on whether they liked the new hairstyle.

Fans of Cyrus observed that her look was reminiscent of her godmother, Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton’s hairstyle is a characteristic of the country diva, as she wears large hairstyles and teases her hair.

Fans also noticed that Cyrus’s haircut is reminiscent of the 1980s, from which she has previously drawn inspiration for her hairstyles, such as a larger-than-life fauxhawk from a performance at Resorts World Las Vegas in 2021.

Whatever the case may be, fans of the singer rushed to X/Twitter to express their thoughts on her choice, with some praising the style. Personally, I don’t think it’s terrible — it could be way worse, if you think about it.

Other viewers had their own opinions about her hairstyle and weren’t particularly fond of it.

During her acceptance speech for her first Grammy award for Pop Solo Performance for her song “Flowers,” Cyrus said that she nearly missed the beginning of the Grammy ceremony due to traffic caused by California’s current storm — which one Twitter user jokingly suggested was the cause for her haircut.

IMHO, Cyrus looks breathtaking, especially with her new trademark hairstyle, and I think we should all take a moment to congratulate her on her spectacular win for “Flowers.”
