Starbucks Orders You Have To Try

Updated Published
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

As someone who can only function with caffeine in her system, I have ordered coffee a lot of different ways. Nothing ruins a day faster than getting a bad coffee. Here are some of my favorite coffee orders from Starbucks, plus one other yummy drink to try and avoid that dilemma!

(For reference, I prefer an iced coffee with a little sweetness but not so sweet that it distracts from the flavor of the coffee itself.)

1. Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

My current favorite right now is a shaken espresso. This hazelnut oat milk one is perfect for people who like a little sweetness, but not too much!

2. Iced Latte With Toffee Nut and Hazelnut Syrup

This is my go-to order when I don’t know what to get. Tailor the amount of syrup to your liking; I usually do 50/50 of what the usual number of pumps is for the size I am ordering. It tastes similar to the pistachio latte, only you can order this year-round!

3. Iced Black tea lemonade with honey blend

This is my order after a long night out. It’s so refreshing and energizing when I am not in the mood for a sugary coffee!

4. double shot of blonde espresso on ice with a splash of vanilla sweet cream

This one is a little bit of a mouthful, but so worth it! If I am looking for a quick pick-me-up, this is my order. The vanilla sweet cream is just sweet enough to cut some bitterness, but not take away from the flavor of the espresso.

5. salted caramel cream cold brew

This last one is a classic. If you haven’t tried this, you’re missing out. The perfect balance of sweetness and coffee with every sip.

Keep these orders in mind the next time you are pleading with the drive-thru employee for more time to decide! These are my surefire orders at Starbucks that consistently come out great. Coffee sets the tone for our day so it’s important that we get the right cup!
