Men from Netflix reality shows must be stopped, officially! With the release of Season 6 of Love Is Blind, a new villain has joined the likes of B*rtise and Sh*ke, and I’m not talking about Jeramy. (Well, him too.) The word on social media is that LIB’s Trevor is joining the cast of Netflix’s Perfect Match Season 2 — and I think I speak for everyone when I say “No! Take him back!”
If you’re only, like, an episode into Love Is Blind Season 6, then this is your warning: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 6 follow. In the pods, Trevor was probably the most likable dude of the bunch. He had a mullet, a fun personality, and the most wholesome himbo vibes out of anyone. (Like, when he gave Chelsea that dog collar? I just about melted.) The hearts of LIB fans broke everywhere when Chelsea ended up dumping him to pursue Jimmy — Justice for Trevor, right? Wrong.
Just a few days after the season aired, Trevor’s rumored ex-girlfriend took to social media to set the record straight: Apparently, Trevor had a girlfriend the entire time he was filming Season 6, and went on the show for, you guessed it, fame and Instagram followers. Tomato, tomato.
According to a supposed text chain between Trevor and Natalia Marrero (his rumored partner at the time), Trevor totally played Chelsea in the pods in order to exit the show with the “good guy” edit. Can we trust anyone anymore?! Her Campus reached out to Trevor’s team for comment on these claims, but did not hear back at the time of publication,
But that’s not all that was revealed on social media. Several social media sleuths and entertainment outlets say that Trevor had already filmed for Perfect Match Season 2, another Netflix dating show that features fan-favorites, and villains, of other reality TV series. While we don’t know this for sure, rumors of Trevor’s involvement in the series date back to September 2023. Her Campus reached out to Netflix for comment, but did not hear back at the time of publication.
According to Netflix, Perfect Match Season 2 is set to come out in 2024, but no official date has been confirmed. So, until that cast list drops, and the season starts, I’m hoping that I don’t have to see this man on my TV screen, like, ever again. Way to make my trust issues even worse, Trevor.
