Updated Published

On July 21, President Joe Biden announced that he will no longer be running in the 2024 presidential race and has endorsed his current vice-president, Kamala Harris, to be the presidential nominee for the Democratic Party.

In his statement announcing his decision to drop out of the race, Biden also publicly endorsed Harris. “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,” he wrote.

Following Biden’s endorsement of Harris, many people — including celebrities — have followed suit, posting their endorsement in support of the current VP. Here are all of the celebs who have publicly shared their endorsements so far.

In photos Swift posted on IG from the concert, Swifties noticed a silhouette in the background on stage — and many thought that the silhouette resembled Harris.

On Sept. 10, after the first presidential debate, Swift gave Harris an official endorsement as a “childless cat lady.”

In an Instagram post, Swift wrote, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

Beyoncé

Although Beyoncé hasn’t publicly endorsed Harris, she and her team gave the VPOTUS permission to use her song “Freedom” in her first official presidential campaign.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, endorsed Harris in a July 22 Instagram post. Knowles posted a photo of herself and Harris standing together with the hashtag #kamala2024, along with a caption that reads in part, “Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President.”

On Sept. 17, Billie Eilish and Finneas officially endorsed Kamala Harris for President in a joint video posted to Instagram.

“We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy,” Eilish said.

Finneas added, “We can’t let extremists control our lives, ours freedoms and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.”

The “Wildflower” singer then urges fans to get out and vote on National Voter Registration Day.

“Vote like your life depends on it, because it does,” she said.

Many celebs have already shared their endorsement for Kamala Harris, and it’s likely many more will soon follow.
