Comet Coffee

Located in Nickel’s Arcade, Comet Coffee is a small, cozy coffee shop. They offer study spaces as well as a few laptop-free tables that encourage community conversation. With their equivalent of a vanilla latte costing $4.70, this coffee shop is inexpensive, compared to alternatives, and is a great space to stop between classes.

Misfit Society Coffee Club 

615 E University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104

Offering tons of quirky flavors, Misfit is a East U hot spot. It occasionally serves as a pop-up shop for the Michigan Vintage Market thrift and hosts open mic nights. Their vanilla latte costs $5.25, and other latte flavors include PB&J and Bananas Foster.

Vertex Coffee Roasters

On the corner of South U and Washtenaw, Vertex emphasizes sustainability with their compostable coffee bags and recyclable coffee cups.
