If you are like me and love reading, then you will understand my excitement at the idea of reading a good book once a semester is over. I finally have the time to pick up the book of my choice and finally relax and have no guilt in spending time reading over studying. Here are the five books I would like to read once finals are finally over!

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

This is the story of Pip, a girl in her senior year of High School in the town of Fairview. For her senior project, she decides to re-open a  case known across town: the murder of Andie Belle. Everyone in this town is convinced that Andie’s boyfriend murdered her and then killed himself. However, Pip is not convinced. Since she was once close to Sal Sigh, the boyfriend and suspected murderer, she has her doubts. The project quickly turns into something more. Maybe finding evidence of Sal’s innocence. However, things become more and more serious to the point where Pip’s life is being threatened. Is Sal innocent? Is there more to the story? What really happened to Andie? To get an answer to all these questions, you’ll need to read the book.

Only one can be left standing. However, Celia and Marco fall in love, which is forbidden. Their love causes many dangerous consequences for the performers as well as the participants at high risk.

All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban

Six high school teens are invited to a scholarship dinner. The queen bee, the star athlete, the valedictorian, the stoner, the loner, and the music geek. Once they arrive at the dinner, they realize it’s a trap. In the room are a bomb and a syringe with poison. They are instructed that they have to pick one of them to die, or else they all have the same fate. One of the teens, Amber Prescott, is determined to get them all out alive, however her goal might be more difficult to obtain. None of them know why they are there and what they have in common, until they realize they all are hiding something which might answer the following question: Who would want six high school teens dead?
