Summer is coming soon and us ladies are having a hot girl summer this year. If you want to get snatched and lean, nutrition plays a major role in sculpting your body. I am not a nutritionist, but these snacks have helped me during my weight loss journey and I am here to share my results with you!

Tuna packets

My favorite tuna packet is the Starkist Tuna Creations. These range from 70-110 calories depending on the flavor you choose. What I love best about this snack is that you can eat this in different ways such as in a sandwich, on crackers, salad, or veggies. It is flavorful and always fills me up even though it is low in calories and fat. I love pairing it with light mayo and some lemon to add extra flavor and juiciness. 

Think! Protein Bar

You can find these Think! Protein bars at your local grocery store. They contain lots of protein while having low carbs and fat. Overall, they are tasty and convenient if you are in a rush or don’t feel like cooking.

Greek Yogurt 

My favorite greek yogurt is the brand Oikos because it is high in protein and low in fat and carbs. Not to mention, this brand is the best tasting yogurt ranging from flavors such as strawberry, vanilla, cherry, etc. Yogurt is also a great source of probiotic in which it promotes a healthy gut.

Apple slices with peanut butter

An easy, healthy snack that I enjoy eating is sliced apples with peanut butter. I enjoy eating this snack before a workout because the good fats and protein from the peanut butter fuel my body with energy and the apple is low in calories. They are a great combo all together. 

Yasso Bars

Love ice cream but can’t eat it due to high fat and calories? Not a problem- Yasso bars are low in fat and are non-dairy. It contains natural ingredients such as fruits and does not contain unnecessary sugar. The only sugar is from fruits and greek yogurt. 

Everything bagel rice cakes

I enjoy eating these rice cakes as a snack with avocado or my tuna packets. These rice cakes are low in calories and taste delicious! It is a great alternative for bread or crackers. 

Pop Chips 

I crave chips all the time, however they are incredibly unhealthy. As a healthier alternative, I enjoy eating Pop Chips to satisfy my cravings. They range from different flavors such as BBQ, sea salt, aged wine cheddar, and many more. As a healthy chip alternative, these taste amazing.

Losing weight takes hard work and discipline, but by swapping out your regular snacks with these healthy ones you can make your journey easier. I saw results by eating these snacks compared to always eating cookies and Hot Cheetos. Eating healthy does not mean your food will taste bland. If you know what to buy, your weight loss journey becomes enjoyable.
