I have devised a ranking system to give each of the official Disney princes a score out of 100, which will help determine which is the best. While this is completely subjective to my preferences, I think it is a fair way to assess these fictional men. Disney considers ten characters to be their official princes, so for ease, I will be following that list. Without further ado here is my opinion that no one asked for!
Prince Florian: 26/100

Hair: 6/10 it’s nothing special but I appreciate the bit of fluff in the front

Outfit: 7/10 an aspect of his outfit is used on almost every prince to follow

Overall Looks: 6/10 he’s a typical brown haired, white boy

Song: 4/10 One Song is a continuation of Snow White’s opening song, as he watches her from afar

Heroism: 1/10 he brings Snow White out of her sleep with a kiss, but he was not trying to be a hero

Personality: 0/10 his name is not even said in the movie, so we know nothing about him

Sidekick: 2/10 he has a horse, but we do not know of their relationship

What are their intentions? 0/10 his intentions are very questionable; he stalks a girl from afar and kisses what he assumes to be her corpse

How did they meet their princess? 0/10 stalking and necrophilia

Would I trust them with my drink? 0/10 he does not show any characteristic of being able to protect my drink
Prince Charming: 33/100

Hair: 5/10 simple, can’t complain about it

Outfit: 6/10 something about the red pants bothers me, but I love the gold shoulder pads

Overall Looks: 6/10 again, he’s a typical brown haired, white boy

Song: 0/10 he doesn’t singÂ

Heroism: 2/10 I think it was implied he was a soldier

Personality: 2/10 we don’t get much, but he can dance!

Sidekick: 0/10 no sidekick, he has employees

What are their intentions? 3/10 following his father’s desires for him to marry

How did they meet their princess? 6/10 at the royal ball, he lost points because he couldn’t remember her face after dancing all night

Would I trust them with my drink? 3/10 maybe, he seems a bit aloof and like he does everything he is told
Prince Philip: 57/100

Hair: 6/10 he has Prince Florian’s hair but blonde

Outfit: 5/10 I love the cape and puffy shoulder, but the tight pants are not it

Overall Looks: 7/10 there’s just something a bit special about him

Song: 5/10 Once Upon a Dream is the quintessential love song but not his own
-
Heroism: 9/10 he fights a magical dragon for the girl he loves!

Personality: 4/10 he’s loyal and brave, but we do not know much
-
Sidekick: 3/10 he has a horse that he seems to care about, but it might be out of necessity

What are their intentions? 5/10 fulfilling his destiny laid out by his father

How did they meet their princess? 6/10 in a forest, singing and dancing with forest animals

Would I trust them with my drink? 7/10 I think for the most part he can be trusted
Prince Eric: 86/100

Hair: 9/10 his hair in the wind off of the sea, enough to fall in love

Outfit: 8/10 could have been leaning a bit more towards captain of the ship rather than poise prince
-
Overall Looks: 9/10 he has very kind eyes and a welcoming smile, but I hold back from a perfect score

Song: 7/10 he doesn’t sing but he can play an instrument!

Heroism: 10/10 he fought a witch octopus, underwater, with a boat!

Personality: 9/10 his only downside is that he fell victim to human Ursula

Sidekick: 10/10 he has a fluffy dog he is willing to die for!

What are their intentions? 9/10 he just wants to find love

How did they meet their princess? 6/10 she saves him, and he’s immediately obsessed, but he struggles to recognize her

Would I trust them with my drink? 9/10 absolutely, however he could fall victim to witch magic again
Prince Adam: 40/100

Hair: 6/10 it’s nice, but there’s a lot of more of it than I’d prefer
-
Outfit: 5/10 it’s nice for Victorian France

Overall Looks: 4/10 all I see is the Beast when he’s human

Song: 3/10 he only sings for a bit in Something More

Heroism: 5/10 although he does not initially want to, he defeats Gaston
-
Personality: 6/10 he has growth, but the anger is still there

Sidekick: 4/10 he cares for those he lives with, but in the end he’s their master
-
What are their intentions? 5/10 he at first only wants to be human again but does come to love Belle.Â

How did they meet their princess? 0/10 he holds her hostage

Would I trust them with my drink? 2/10 only as a last resort
Aladdin: 69/100

Hair: 8/10 he has the perfect flow, but we lose it when he’s fully done up as Prince Ali

Outfit: 5/10 I enjoy the purple aspects, but it is not my favorite

Overall Looks:7/10 he’s the first bit of flavor we’ve gotten from Disney

Song: 10/10 Aladdin is the protagonist of his movie and has multiple fun songs to sing along to

Heroism: 6/10 he takes on Jafar but not without the help of others and his own selfish reasonings

Personality: 5/10 Aladdin has materialistic tendencies, but positive qualities underneath
-
Sidekick: 10/10 we have Abu, Genie, and the magic carpet!

What are their intentions? 5/10 again he selfishly desires riches and fame
-
How did they meet their princess? 7/10 he saved her from the angry street merchant, but they did steal from the guy
-
Would I trust them with my drink? 6/10 I would, except he may get distracted by his own desires
John Smith: 56/100
-
Hair: 8/10 I am quite the fan of his shoulder length blonde locks
-
Outfit: 5/10 it’s nothing exciting, but not awful
-
Overall Looks: 8/10 for a man who spends all of his time on a ship or in distant lands, during colonial years, he is very attractive

Song: 7/10 If I Never Knew You is one of the best Disney songs ever, but it wasn’t included in the final cut of the movie
-
Heroism: 8/10 he went against his men for love and a growing respect for the natives
-
Personality: 7/10 he loses points for imperialism

Sidekick: 0/10 doesn’t have any but his weaponry

What are their intentions? 5/10 we see a nice character development from intending to conquer land to falling in love

How did they meet their princess? 4/10 he initially tried to kill her, wins points for being followed by Colors of the Wind

Would I trust them with my drink? 4/10 probably not, but would if I had to
Li Shang: 60/100

Hair: 6/10 we get a man bun!Â

Outfit: 6/10 I love the red cape but wish the rest of it had a bit of color

Overall Looks: 7/10 he’s a fit soldier, can’t go wrong

Song: 8/10 I’ll Make a man Out of You is my favorite song in the film, however it’s a bit sexistÂ

Heroism: 7/10 he fought the Huns, did not receive full points because Mulan deserves the full credit

Personality: 5/10 he is very loyal but has angry and sexist undertones

Sidekick: 0/10 he doesn’t have a sidekick

What are their intentions? 6/10 to save China, but also gain personal glory

How did they meet their princess? 6/10 they met training for battle, lost points for treating her poorly upon discovering her womanhood

Would I trust them with my drink? 9/10 he would likely protect it at all costs
Prince Naveen: 54/100

Hair: 9/10 his curls are mesmerizingÂ

Outfit: 8/10 I am a huge fan of the green, but it’s very similar to past princes
-
Overall Looks: 8/10 his attractiveness is undeniable

Song: 7/10 many of the points come from playing the ukulele
-
Heroism: 5/10 I consider Tiana to be far more heroic
-
Personality: 5/10 he has bratty tendenciesÂ

Sidekick: 0/10 no sidekickÂ

What are their intentions? 5/10 his initial intention is based on selfish reasons

How did they meet their princess? 5/10 they met when he turned her into a frog

Would I trust them with my drink? 2/10 probably not\
Eugene Fitzherbert: 74/100
-
Hair: 10/10 I personal believe he has the perfect prince hair
-
Outfit: 8/10 his outfit is the middle ground of Prince Eric and John Smith

Overall Looks: 9/10 I’m not entirely sure why I am apprehensive to give him a perfect score

Song: 10/10 we all fall in love during I See the Light, don’t deny it

Heroism: 7/10 most of his actions were based on survival but he was willing to die to protect Rapunzel’s freedom

Personality: 8/10 we see overall growth!

Sidekick: 5/10 he does not have an actual sidekick but gains points for the comedic relationship with Maximus

What are their intentions? 6/10 initially selfish he grows into a loyal and respectable character

How did they meet their princess? 4/10 breaking and entering, but gains points for the smolder
-
Would I trust them with my drink? 7/10 yes, but I worry he would get distracted
Bonus – Hercules: 73/100

Hair: 7/10 not my favorite but the ginger suits him
-
Outfit: 6/10 I feel like for a gladiator style it could have been better
-
Overall Looks: 7/10 his strength is a huge factor in this

Song: 10/10 as the protagonist he has many great singing moments
-
Heroism: 9/10 a true hero but at times distracted by his intentions
-
Personality: 8/10 loses points for selfishness

Sidekick: 6/10 multiple great sidekicks but he does not always treat them with kindness

What are their intentions? 7/10 all he wants is guidance in his fate but again can be selfish

How did they meet their princess? 6/10 trying to save her, we see sexist undertones

Would I trust them with my drink? 7/10 for the most part, I would
