As someone who has always been a huge Taylor Swift fan, I can appreciate every song that she has ever released, although I know many people cannot. A couple days ago I saw someone say that Taylor has never put out a bad song, however, every song she released is not one you can relate to. So, I got the urge to find my favorite line from every song on every album, starting with self-titled Taylor Swift, to prove that even the “worst” songs are still great. I wanted to preface that my favorite line can be my favorite because of the lyricism, it’s something I can relate to, or even if I just like the way that Taylor sings it. So here are my favorite lines from every song on Taylor Swift, with no further explanation.

Tim McGraw

“September saw a month of tears

and thankin’ God that you weren’t here

 to see me like that”

Picture to Burn

“And if you come around saying sorry to me

My daddy’s gonna show you how sorry you’ll be”

Teardrops on My Guitar

“He’s the song in the car I keep singing”

A Place in This World

“Don’t know what’s down this road, I’m just walking”

Cold as You

“And you do what you want, cause I’m not what you wanted”

The Outside

“But nothing seems to work the first few times

Am I right?”

Tied Together With a Smile

“Seems the only one who doesn’t see your beauty,

Is the face in the mirror looking back at you”

Stay Beautiful

“I’m taking pictures in my mind so I can save them for a rainy day”

Should’ve Said No

“Before you go, tell me this,

Was it worth it?

Was she worth this?”

Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)

“I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine”

Our Song

“When we’re on the phone and he talks real slow”

I’m Only Me When I’m With You

“Through it all nobody gets me like you do”

Invisible

“She’s never gonna love you like I want to”

A Perfectly Good Heart

“How do I get it back to the way it was before?”
