A fun fact about me is that I’m obsessed with creating playlists. When I create playlists it allows me to express myself and release any emotions I might be bottling up. Whether I’m happy or sad, bored or tired, angry or feeling like making a dedicated playlist to my partner (he loves it by the way), it always cheers me up. The playlist I’m sharing today has 37 songs for a total of 2 hours and 13 minutes. I like to listen to this playlist when it’s rainy, but also when I am wanting more calming music with upbeat tones. In this article, I will be sharing 4 songs off this playlist to give you all some inspiration if you ever feel like making your own rainy day playlist.

“Shake, Shake, Shake” by Bronze Radio Return

This song genuinely is just so upbeat, yet calming, that I just get lost driving anywhere. The chorus is my favorite part as it starts to pick up a bit, but is still relaxing and soothing. If you are into indie or alternative pop music, this song is for you.

“Cold Cold Man” by Saint Motel

If you like upbeat songs with a distinct piano riff, you will love this song. Again, this song is quite calming yet has underlying upbeat tones that make you want to bop your head and drive, drive, drive!

“What You Know” by Two Door Cinema

This song is one of Two Door Cinema’s most popular songs and it’s easy to understand why. The bass line is really intriguing and has underlying jazz tones that make your hips sway.

“Too Good At Goodbyes” by Sam Smith

To finish off this playlist, I have included a song by this gem, Sam Smith. Every rainy day playlist needs at least one or two sad songs that you can sing along to. If you are into more pop songs, this one is a great addition to add!

I truly do believe music is a powerful thing. Making playlists is truly such a fun hobby and stress reliever for me. If you are ever on Spotify, go ahead and check out some of my other playlists! Peace and love babes and I’ll see you next week!
