Something I’ve been obsessing over the past few months has been baked oatmeal. I saw this recipe on TikTok and fell in love once I tried it out!

I’m not a fan of regular oatmeal. It was like the boring cereal to eat in the early morning before school because it was healthy and quick. Recently, I’ve been getting creative with oatmeal and along with the classic overnight oats recipe, I’ve been loving baked oatmeal. So, here’s my favourite recipe!

Ingredients:

1. 1/2 cup of instant oats

2. 1/2 cup of water

3. 1/4 cup frozen raspberries (or fresh!)

4. 1 tbsp maple syrup

5. Pinch of salt

6. 1 tsp baking soda

7. Chocolate chips

8. 1 tbsp natural peanut butter

Recipe

1. Add the salt and baking soda to the instant oats and give it a quick mix.

2. Add the water to the oats and mix until it forms a thick batter consistency.

3. Mix in the raspberries and maple syrup.

4. Add the chocolate chips on top

5. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Once it’s ready, it should have a firm layer and be a little like custard inside!

6. Add the peanut butter on top and enjoy!

This is a great recipe to set the night before and then put to bake in the morning in order to save you time! I highly recommend mixing it up with the toppings by adding different fruit and some nuts as well.
