While recruitment will look very different this year because of Covid-19, it is still important to go into the weekend prepared! Joining Greek life is such a great experience. It helps you make new friends, pursue leadership opportunities and get involved around campus. Good luck and don’t forget to have fun!

1. Have an open mind
It is important to keep an open mind because this process is for you and no one else. It is completely okay if you do not join the same sorority as all your friends! You can all still be friends and even live together. In fact, having friends in different sororities is a great way to meet even more new people.
2. Connect with your Rho Gammas
Your Rho Gammas serve as your recruitment counselors throughout the weekend. They are there to support you and help you talk through your decisions. They have been in your shoes and are a great resource. Even if you just want to chat, they are there for you!
3. Be your authentic self
It’s okay to be nervous. In fact, the chapters are nervous too. It is really important to put your best foot forward and be yourself because these are the women you will be spending the next 3 ½ years with.
4. Ask Questions
Really make an effort to get to know the chapters. They are happy to answer your questions and love to talk about all the fun events they put on.Â
5. Let loose and have fun with it
You only get to find your Greek home once so enjoy the process. Recruitment is a great time to explore your interests, meet new people and express yourself.Â
