2020 was a year full of many trials: a global pandemic, fighting for the BLM movement, an election and so much more. But throughout all of the trials, it was still a year full of many strong women. These women did so much, from fighting for equal rights, caring for people suffering from COVID-19, working on the frontlines, providing hope for those who felt like they were lost, and acting as role models for a younger generation of girls. In a year of darkness, these women were able to spark hope.

- Female Frontline Workers
-
In 2020, we learned that our most valuable heroes are the ones who serve us every single day, whether they are a grocery store clerk, food industry worker, nurse, doctor, or anyone else that puts themselves in harm’s way for the benefit of others. Many of these women worked long shifts with the chance of exposure to COVID-19, and through this put the needs of others above their own. They acted out of bravery and kindness while serving those around them.
As we remember 2020, it’s important to remember and honor the women that shaped the year. This is just a small group of women who changed people’s lives in 2020, but as we enter 2021, we need to remember to be grateful for the women that offer joy, bravery, kindness and love to others around them.
