You’re about to have your interview for a job, program, or internship. There must be so much going through your mind right now. What should I wear? How should I style my hair? The most common thing people worry about is the types of questions they’re going to be asked. In this article, I will be giving you tips to help you prep yourself for an interview.

Rebrand Cities

  1. Have your outfit ready the night before

  2. Style your hair in advance so that you won’t stress about it

  3. Wear light makeup

  4. Eat light foods to give you just enough energy to stay focused

  5. Get 8 hours of sleep

  6. Come up with 3 strong questions you want to ask after the interview

  7. Study your resume enough to answer questions about it

  8. Take 2-second pauses before answering your questions

  9. Rehearse the basic questions:

    • Tell me about yourself

    • Describe your strengths and weaknesses

    • Why do you want to be a part of this company?

    • Tell me a time you had to overcome a challenge

  10. Make sure your internet connection is stable

  11. Write down your interview on your calendars

  12. Go to mock interview websites to practice
