So today we are reviewing on one of Lush’s face and body cleansers called “Aqua Marina“. I have never really bought a lot of products from Lush and I feel like as a brand, Lush is most known for its bath bombs. This happens to be the extent of what I have gotten from Lush in the past. However, I went to the mall a few weeks ago and decided to explore my options. I love face masks and wanted to try one from Lush. The “Aqua Marina” mask specifically grabbed my attention because this is one of their products that are vegan so I thought it would be healthy for my skin.
Another reason that I picked this specific kind of mask was that it is geared towards and marketed for sensitive skin. My skin isn’t super sensitive, but once in a while, my skin does react and get irritated from various products. I thought that since I was trying a new product, this mask in particular would be the best fit for me. I also loved the smell of this product and I was actually able to smell it while still wearing my mask. Lush, like many stores right now, has a store policy that requires customers to keep their masks on and to not take them off, even to smell products.
For the first time, I finally used the mask the other night. There was definitely enough in the bottle for multiple uses and it isn’t just a one-time, one-use mask. The product feels almost like a face cream while being spread over the skin. Afterward, my skin felt very smooth and relaxed. I would recommend using this mask in the morning because it feels very fresh and is a good, rejuvenating way to kickstart your day. The ingredients in the mask left me feeling soothed and provided nutrients to the skin. I do recommend this mask, it is overall on the pricier side, but definitely worth the extra money.
